For more than 30 years, Casey’s has been a proud part of Toledo’s LGBTQ+ community—and a welcoming place for people from every walk of life.
Our story began in 1995 as R House, a neighborhood gay bar where friendships were formed, milestones were celebrated, and people could feel comfortable being themselves. In 2018, R House became Casey’s, continuing that tradition while growing into the friendly neighborhood bar, restaurant, and community gathering place it is today.

Casey’s remains proud of its LGBTQ+ roots, but you do not have to be LGBTQ+ to feel at home here. Our customers represent a wide mix of ages, backgrounds, neighborhoods, and communities.
Some guests live right around the corner. Others visit from across Toledo, Northwest Ohio, Southeast Michigan, and the Detroit area. Whether you are stopping in for a drink, meeting friends for dinner, attending an event, or relaxing on the patio, you are welcome at Casey’s.

House-Made Food at Casey’s
Food has become a major part of the Casey’s experience. Our kitchen serves satisfying, house-made food prepared with care—not the ordinary food you might expect from a neighborhood bar.
Our menu includes hand-formed burgers, specialty pizzas, paninis, appetizers, sandwiches, fresh-cut and house-prepared favorites, and rotating food specials. We believe good bar food should be made fresh, taste great, and be priced so you can enjoy it regularly.
Dine inside, enjoy your meal on our spacious patio, order food for pickup, or have Casey’s delivered through participating delivery services.
Weekly Entertainment and Things to Do in Toledo
There is almost always something happening at Casey’s. Our regular events bring people together for music, games, friendly competition, good food, and plenty of laughs.
Weekly activities include Music Bingo, Name That Tune, pool tournaments, food specials, happy hours, patio gatherings, karaoke and other special entertainment throughout the year.

Cookouts, Community Events and Celebrations
Casey’s is more than a bar and restaurant. It is a gathering place.
Throughout the year, we host customer cookouts, patio parties, potlucks, holiday celebrations, fundraisers, anniversary events, community functions, and other opportunities for people to spend time together.
Many of our customers have known one another for years, while others are visiting for the first time. We want every guest to have the opportunity to become part of the Casey’s community.
